post announcements!
We just got our post announcements about 2.5 hours ago! I am going to spend the next two years in Kolofata, a village in the Far North region. While I’m literally one of the farthest Peace Corps Trainees from Yaounde, the volunteer I’m replacing apparently loves her post. I found her blog, and she also has done some awesome work on cholera, and HIV, and trachoma. Another major plus is that I’ll have electricity and running water. Wow, it’s almost like I’ll be in the Posh Corps.
On a completely unrelated note, one of the other Peace Corps Trainees had a dream the other night that he failed Peace Corps and got demoted to AmeriCorps.
