ketchup in Cameroon
I’m still spending a lot of time getting to know the people in my village. Often, it’s through meals, but it’s a lot of just sitting around and chatting. When I walk home – or pretty much walk walk anywhere – I’m pretty much guaranteed to run into someone I know.
One night, my next-door neighbor showed me how to prepare fish, since I had no idea where to even start with cleaning a fish. I then introduced her to ketchup (which I bought in Maroua), since she’d mentioned that she’d always been curious to try it. She made fried potato wedges – yum! Then, she decided to try ketchup on rice
She decided that she didn’t like it, haha.
